A message from the Forgotten Coast Cultural Coalition
You know us by the Forgotten Coast en Plein Air event that we host each year. What you may not know is that the funds we raise from this event go toward supporting the Arts and arts education in the area.
Several years ago, we took a major step, purchasing the building at 201 Reid Avenue in Port St. Joe, giving us a home office and permanent base of operation and most importantly, answering a need in Gulf County and Port St. Joe, by providing a home for The Joe Center for the Arts. An arts center does more than host exhibits. Its programs contribute to the well-being and quality of life of a community. The Joe, a 501c3, offers exhibits, art classes and hosts community events, such as the current “Forgotten Coast Festival of Trees”.
If you believe in the power of the arts in small-town communities, consider a holiday donation to our Capital Campaign for the building. Every dollar you give will go directly towards paying off the building, freeing up much needed money for programming. Best of all, your donation will impact programming well into the future, as we permanently reduce the overhead for both the Forgotten Coast Cultural Coalition and The Joe.
Your donation will help keep a home for the Arts...in Port St. Joe.
We depend on you. FCCC is a non-profit 501c3, so donations are tax deductable.
