Each year at the “Collectors’ Gala,” the invited artists select what they consider the “best” painting of the 10-day event. The Forgotten Coast Cultural Coalition purchases that painting and adds it to a growing collection. Take this opportunity to view past years of these paintings which our artists have chosen as the Best of the Best! The hours of the exhibit are Monday-Friday only, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm at the Welcome Center in Mexico Beach. It is located at 102 Canal Parkway in Mexico Beach. Please note that the FC event uses Eastern time on all events so although Mexico Beach is on Central Time, this time is listed in Eastern Time Zone hours.

A unique feature to the Forgotten Coast event is a fully functioning Wet room which sells paintings as quickly as the artists deliver them to the check in station. The paintings are literally “wet” as they are often completed just hours before arrival. The Wet room features the work of all invited artists. The paintings change by the hour and often art collectors arrive daily to make their selections from the most recent deliveries. Collectors from across the country watch the online gallery where each painting is photographed and posted immediately to the website. If you cannot attend in person, you may view the paintings online. A painting can be selected and easily processed over the telephone. For the cost of shipping, the painting will be delivered to your door. Simply call 800-378-8419. Open daily 11:00am-5:00pm; Closing at 3:00 pm on March 27. Also opens at 1:00pm on March 19th.

Invited artists display their finest studio work inspired by their plein air work from the Forgotten Coast area. This exhibit exemplifies the tradition of artists taking a series of smaller pieces produced outdoors back to their studio, and producing larger, fully developed paintings you will see in the Master's Gallery. All works are available for viewing and purchase. Times are 11:00am-5:00pm daily, except closing at 3:00 pm on March 27. Also opens at 1:00pm on March 19th.
