"Seeing new and fresh landscapes is always exciting. I am thrilled to be invited for the first time to explore this new location and find exciting places to paint. It is such fun to express the light and color of Florida, and to meet new painting comrades and collectors. I can’t wait!"
Tara started working in plein air in 2014, building a portfolio to apply for juried events. Working in pastels, using bold, colorful, expressive marks, Tara seeks to capture the "essence" of her subject. She earned her "Master Pastellist" designation from the International Association of Pastel Societies in 2018, and has exhibited in London, China, Canada, and across the US. Since first working in plein air, Tara has fallen in love with painting outside. Beautiful light, endless subject matter, and vibrant colors provide endless inspiration. Her goal is to provide students the tools they need to find their own voice, and be more confident in their work. She focuses on color, mark making and composition to achieve this. She currently lives in Maryland with her husband and four young children. See more of Tara's work at https://www.tarawill.com
